Applicable to all metered service. Service will be furnished in accordance with the following stipulations and in accordance with the Company’s Rules, approved by the New Mexico Public Regulation Commission.

Sandia Knolls and Juan Tomas Subdivisions.

The Monthly Customer Charge is applicable each month to each customer whether or not a customer uses any water.

Customer Charge plus applicable taxes.

All bills under this rate are due and payable when rendered and become delinquent twenty (20) calendar days thereafter.

Billings under this schedule may be increased by an amount equal to the taxes payable under the Gross Receipts and Compensation Tax Act, and all other taxes, fees or charges (exclusive of ad valorem taxes and state and federal income taxes) payable by New Mexico Water Service Co. and levied or assessed by any governmental authority on the utility service rendered, or on the right or privilege of rendering the service, or on any object or event incidental to the rendition of this service.

All bills under this rate are due and payable when rendered.

New Mexico Water Service Company’s filed rules apply to service under this schedule.

If the company disconnects water service for non-payment and then restores water service to the same customer, NMWSC is authorized to charge a service fee of $25.00

If the company determines it is to terminate water service by removing the water meter for non-payment, unauthorized use of water, or verified tampering with the company’s valved, lines or equipment, NMWSC is authorized to charge a service fee of $100.00 to reinstall the water meter.

In the event that any customer gives NMWSC a checking payment for water service which is dishonored by the bank for any reason, NMWSC may charge a customer who issued the dishonored check a charge of $20.00

Upon request by a customer, the company shall make a test of the meter serving him/her and shall advise the consumer that he/she may be present during the test. If the meter has been tested within the last twelve (12) months, the company may charge the customer a meter test charge of $35.OO for making the second or each additional test. The charge will he refunded to the customer whenever the meter proves to be in excess of two percent (2%) fast.

If a customer requests to make payment by credit or debit card, the applicable transaction fee charged by the credit/debit card will be added to the payment at the time of payment.

Billings under this schedule may be increased an amount equal to the sum of the taxes payable under the Gross Receipts and Compensating Tax Act and all other taxes, fees or charges (exclusive of ad valorem, state and federal income taxes) payable by the utility and levied or assessed by any governmental authority on the public utility service rendered, or on the right or privilege of rendering the service or on any object or event incidental to the rendition of the service.

All bills under this rate are due and payable when rendered and become delinquent twenty (20) calendar days thereafter with the exception of the credit/debit card transaction fees which must be paid immediately when payment is elected to be made under this method.
