General Metered Service
Applicability
Applicable to all meter installations. Service will be furnished in accordance with the following stipulations and in accordance with the Company’s General Rules, terms and conditions available at the Company’s office and on file with the New Mexico Public Regulation Commission, which General Rules or subsequent revisions thereof are a part of this schedule as is fully written.

Cypress Gardens Subdivision.
Monthly Rates

The Monthly Customer Charge is applicable each month to each customer whether or not a customer uses any water.
Monthly Minimum
Customer Charge plus applicable taxes.
Terms of Payment
All bills under this rate are due and payable when rendered and become delinquent twenty (20) calendar days thereafter.

Tax Adjustment Clause
Billings under this schedule may be increased by an amount equal to the taxes payable under the Gross Receipts and Compensation Tax Act and all other taxes, fees or charges (exclusive of ad valorem taxes and state and federal income taxes) payable by New Mexico Water Service Co. and levied or assessed by any governmental authority on the utility service rendered, or on the right or privilege of rendering the service, or on any object or event incidental to the rendition of this service.

Service Connection Charge
At the time of making application for service to a lot or site where service had not previously been provided, the customer will be required to pay a service connection charge of $250.00.

Reconnection Charge
If a customer makes application to the Company to restore service which was previously disconnected at the same premise, less than 12 months before the date of the application for reconnection, the Company is authorized to charge a service fee of $25.
Meter Testing Charge
Upon request by a customer, the Company shall make a test of the meter serving him and shall advise the customer that he may be present. If the meter has been tested within the last twelve months, the Company may charge the customer $25.00 for making such a test and such charge will be refunded to the customer whenever the meter proves to be in excess of two percent (2%) in error against the customer.
Returned Check Charge
The Company is authorized to charge a fee of $25.00 for each check that is returned unpaid by the customer’s financial institution.
Monthly Minimum
Credit/Debit Card Transaction Fees
If a customer requests to make payment by credit or debit card, the applicable transaction fee charged by the credit/debit card will be added to the payment at the time of payment.
