About New Mexico Water Service Co.

In 2002, New Mexico Water Service (New Mexico Water) was formed with the acquisition of the Rio Grande Utility Corporation by California Water Service Group, which added 2,265 water and 1,600 wastewater customers. The 2004 acquisition of National Utility Company added another 1,600 customers to the New Mexico subsidiary. Since then, New Mexico Water has made two other acquisitions: Cypress Gardens Water Users and Independent Utility Company.
