Elephant Butte water system

General Information

New Mexico Water Service Company purchased National Utility Company serving select areas of Elephant Butte in April 2004. To meet the needs of our Elephant Butte Customers, we utilize three wells that pump groundwater that is then disinfected and stored in two storage tanks that provide 400,000 gallons of storage. New Mexico Water proactively maintains and upgrades its facilities to ensure a reliable, high-quality supply.
